goblin search

They caught sight sight of the band of goblins.

Horses travel faster than goblins, so it wasn't long before they caught sight of the goblins who had kidnapped Alexander. Unfortunately for the would-be rescuers, these goblins were being met by a much larger band headed by the goblin king himself, who had come out from his dark tunnels, impatient to see how things were going. The goblins knew they didn't have to worry too much about a couple of riders out at night, and they knew if there was a fight, they would surely win.

Author's note:- if you like the short story Alexander Woyte and the Goblins - I wrote a whole book length story a few years later which includes many of the same characters. It's called Alexander White and the Pirates (and Goblins)
